What do individual therapy sessions cost?
I believe in honesty, clarity, and being upfront about all aspects of the therapy process, including cost. I have made the choice to help clients use their out of network benefits in order to maintain flexibility and provide a more personalized experience. However, I am committed to assisting you in maximizing your out of network benefits by submitting out of network claims on your behalf to help you receive reimbursement. I accept payments through both HSA and FSA accounts. The cost for a 1-hour therapy session is $150. I offer a sliding scale for those who are eligible.
To simplify the process, I’ve partnered with Mentaya, a service that helps verify your out of network benefits and submits superbill claims on your behalf. A superbill is a detailed invoice that outlines the therapy services you received, allowing you to submit it to your insurance company for reimbursement based on your specific insurance plan. This helps ensure you can take full advantage of your benefits, without the hassle of dealing with paperwork. More often than not, I find that clients’ out of network benefits are comparable to their in network benefits.
If you have any questions about fees, insurance, or the reimbursement process, I’m happy to provide more information and help you navigate the details!
